Residential Schools Workshop (Eagle House Parents only) - Thursday 4th February 1.30pm

Some of you may be wondering about whether to consider a residential autism schools for your child’s future education? This may be something you will have to consider at a future transition or perhaps you would simply like to have more information about your child’s future educational options?

Whatever your circumstance, it is likely that you have questions such as:-

  • What is available and where?
  • What could Eagle House School’s residential provision in Norfolk offer my child?
  • How do parents go about securing funding?
  • What are the benefits for your child and the rest of the family?
  • What are the challenges? 
  • How do families cope with residential transition and separation?
  • What happens after age 18?

We will be joined on the day by John Shaw, Principal of both Eagle House School and Eagle Life College and Julia Pithouse, our Group Development Manager who has two young adults who have both attended residential placements, her daughter currently attends Eagle House School (Norfolk). They will jointly be able answer questions on funding issues and how to best approach local authorities.
