Support for prospective parents and carers

We place a strong value on working in partnership with our parents and never forget that parents remain the expert in their own child.
Eagle House Group welcomes all families, friends and others significant in the child's or young person's life.

Our Families can expect us to -

  • Keep them informed with agreed and regular contact
  • Be non judgemental and supportive of individual family needs
  • Respect the enormous impact Autism has on family life, including the impact on siblings
  • Respect the need for privacy and confidentiality
  • Provide honest and open advice
  • Value your opinion and suggestions
  • Listen to your concerns and give you time

Not sure what you are looking for?

The fact that you are looking at our web site means you are facing the challenge of finding the right school and right approach for your child or young person with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder. We appreciate that this can be a traumatic and confusing process for many families and our aim is to help you by providing clear and supportive advice right from the start

If you are unclear as to what you are looking for or would simply like to talk to someone about your child or the young person you are trying to support, please call our Group Development Team - Julia Pithouse and Carrie Haslett

Both Julia and Carrie have extensive experience in supporting families along their individual journey's and will provide you with an opportunity to talk through your family situation. They are both parents of children with autism.
